f you old man winter, f you

because of this "huge" "nor'easter" that is "slamming" nyc with snow, my bike race got cancelled. why don't you go to siberia or something where winter is appreciated. you are unwanted here, so go away. hopefully things will get cleaned up and we may race sunday.

1 ) No fender mounts is no excuse, cabron. First, those little clip-on jobs actually work pretty well, for the rider at least. Your teammates might hate you... also you can get a decent rain bike for like $100, but I suppose, where would you put it?

2 ) I do have a subscription to cycling.tv "premium." Paris-Nice IS on the free coverage, but only at 100kbps, which looks pretty bad but the audio is still fine. Premium coverage is like 800 kbps, which is as good as TV.

1. - or you can just man up and get wet....dont pretend like fenders magically keep you dry. its raining, you will get wet.

2. - how are you liking the subscription? worth it? I was thinking of getting one for the countless hours of trainer/rollers, but I have "borrowed" a solid collection of race dvd's from friends, plus there is alot of halfway decent free content.

Hah, whatever, you don't even understand how wet you get EVERY BLOODY DAY in the winter in Seattle. You still get WET without fenders, but you don't have icy water blasting in your face and all over your booties, it really does make a diff. Every time I ride without them I remember why I'm not supposed to do that, hah.

The subscription, well, I can't make myself ride the trainer for crap, especially in front of the computer, but I'm a big cycling fanboy. It is annoying because they don't include the Grand Tours in the fee -- but last year they didn't know what they were gonna do at all. I think it's worth it, if you've got the money sitting about. I like to be able to just have it on while I'm doing bloggin' or RBR or homework or whatev.
