freezin rain

its so nasty outside you have no idea. It snowed this morning (according to rumor, I slept till 11:30) and then turned to freezing rain/sleet this afternoon. It stung the face, and I wanted to go outside and ride. It's been 3 days and I'm starting to feel like I need to ride. Morgan got a bunch of old races on dvd from her brother for her birthday today. Time to hit up the trainer perhaps...

back to school

after sitting in traffic on the masspike for an hour, and a long drive, we finally got back to school. I of course left a few things at home, but whatever. I wish I had raced today or was racing more. So it goes, next season to look foward to. Time to hit the books. Miller sent me some pic's from last weekend with the b's, check em out.

city lights

went to targetraining this morning, did part of the computer program alpe d'huez climb....felt like crap on 4.5 hours sleep and a night of partying, but I did ok, even hitting something like 425 watts at one point (early on during my warmup), im sure I could get it higher. I held it constant around 200 watts for the climb, nothing special. After that Sarah and I went into NYC for the afternoon/evening. Did some shopping in SoHo, met my friend Noah for dinner and came back. I am now tired as heck and confused about my life, it's direction, and such.....oh well, it could be worse. Back to maine tomorrow.

old friends

just got back from a gathering with the h.s. crew. good to see everyone, sit around and re-live the good old days. sort of cool how we can all get together and carry on as if nothing has changed and everyone is still friends and great. and the batsie and I played a solid two games of 'ruit, gotta represent maine.
